Apprenticeships

Axis Services Group Ltd are  investing in the future with apprentices and trainees at all levels in the company. We currently have trainees studying with us in both M&E building services engineering, surveying and plumbing and electrical craft roles.

The training we offer goes all the way up to professional recognition and is based upon day and block release academic learning, as well as implementing what has been learned on our projects as “on the job” training. We have many previous success stories and anticipate many more in the future.

We currently employ trainees who are studying towards a B.Eng (Hons) Degree in Building Services at London Southbank University. This course is accredited by professional bodies including the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the Energy Institute.

The B.Eng (Hons) course is designed to equip graduates with technical, management and communication skills; all of which are required to be a project leader in the building services and energy conservation industry. In their final year students will choose between a mechanical or an electrical specialisation.

We employ electrical apprentices through the JTL scheme for those who wish to study electrical engineering. JTL apprenticeships are approved by the government and will lead to apprentices being recognised by the industry as fully electrically qualified.

Plumbing is another option for those who wish to complete NVQ diplomas in Plumbing, Domestic Services and Heating whilst gaining work experience with us at site, again these are fully accredited courses. Our trainees undertake a series of day release and block release modules.
